Our sister company, Clover Leaf Signs and Memorials, specialise in traditional headstones, mainly in Welsh slate. However, we do other materials such as granite, limestone and sandstone which are suited to both modern and more traditional churchyard settings.

We have extensive expertise in Welsh slate, having begun our business over 24 years ago as an exclusively Welsh slate wholesaler. Welsh slate is still one of the best materials for a headstone. The dense, smooth finish of slate together with its   negligible porosity ensures that the surface is almost totally resistant to natural   growths of algae and moss which take over other headstones. Welsh slate is also   exceptionally durable and a 200-year-old headstone is as easy to read now as the   day it was carved. All our headstones and memorials, including granite, are V- carved using state of the art machinery, ensuring deep, easy to read letters which  will last many lifetimes.

We understand that choosing and deciding upon a memorial for a loved one can be  an extremely hard and emotional experience. When working with us, you can feel  rest assured that our team we will be with you every step of the way to guide and support you through the process. After contacting us, we will work with you to  discuss your individual requirements and establish the regulations in relation to the memorial site. We will provide you with detailed proofs and only once you are happy with the design and specification do we begin manufacturing. Upon completion of this, we work with you to arrange installation.

We mainly work in the Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire areas but when requested, can also travel further afield.

We also offer a headstone cleaning service. Many headstones are made from porous materials including limestone and marble. Over time, lichen begins to grow and the engraving becomes harder and harder to read. Whilst cleaning will never completely restore the headstone to its original appearance, it can be vastly improved. Prices start from as little as £100.
